Fir Ends Primary School

Next week sees the return of the Scholastic **HALF PRICE** Book Fair. This event is always popular with our families, and an excellent fund raiser for the school.

All books in the fair cost half their Recommended Retail Price – there are some bargains to be had!

Unfortunately, the metal book cases/display stands are still not available to us, so we will be running this year’s event in a similar fashion to last years…

We have been sent 2 copies of each book title but won’t sell copies directly; they’re just for browsing. Once children have selected the books they would like to buy, they will be ordered for delivery direct to the school.

The children will have the opportunity to browse the titles in school time, on Tuesday 6^th December. For children who are collected from school, parents/carers can browse the fair on Wednesday 7^th December. Each child will be given a Wish List for you/them to complete.

Once you have agreed which books you would like to order, the Wish List should then be returned to the School Office and we will order everyone’s books at the end of next week.

You can either pay by cash on the day, or the total value will be added to your ParentPay account for payment before the books are issued.

If your child(ren) are not collected from school, they will be supported to complete their Wish Lists by staff. These will then be sent home for your authorisation, and if returned by next Friday 9th December, their books will be ordered along with everyone else’s.
